Patriot Peek at the Week

Hello Patriot Families!

We had a great first FULL WEEK of school for in-person students in grades K-5. We are excited to welcome back our 6th-8th grade in-person learners to school every day starting this coming week, October 5th. Please remember that there will be no school on Friday, October 9th and Monday, October 12th. I hope you all enjoy a wonderful four day weekend.

We will have Parent Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, October 6th from 4:00-7:30 and Thursday, October 8th from 2:30-5:30. These conferences will be by appointment only. You can choose to meet virtually or in-person with your child's teacher. Please schedule an appointment so that we can discuss your child's progress and supports we can provide to help him/her feel successful.

Today is National Custodian Day. This day recognizes the hard work that it takes to keep our school facilities spotless and sanitary. We appreciate the dedication of our custodians at Wolf Ridge. We couldn't be back to school without Deb, Barb, and Shavella. Thank you!

It's Your Choice! Please indicate whether you would like a virtual conference or an in-person conference. All conferences are by appointment only.

Tuesday, October 6th = 4:00-7:30

Thursday, October 8th = 2:30-5:30

We will have the Pig on a Wing Food Truck here at Wolf Ridge on Tuesday, October 6th from 4:00-7:00 during our Parent Teacher Conferences. If you don't know what to make for dinner that evening, you can always purchase your dinner from them.

Don't forget to show your Patriot pride!

Wear Patriot gear or blue and yellow on Fridays.

Each Friday, students will be encouraged to wear Patriot gear or blue and yellow. On some Fridays, we may even change it up with some other themes like pajama day, hat day, silly sock day, or something else fun.

Teachers will count the number of students that participate in their class each Friday. This includes our remote learners, too. The class with the most spirit for the week will be announced each Monday. This class will then receive a whole class reward of their choice. Choices may include an extra recess, game time, special snack, dance party, or prize!

We will welcome the Bunker Hill Fire Department to our school on this day. Students will participate in a fire drill and learn about fire safety. Some classrooms will get the opportunity to learn from our very own Bunker Hill Firefighters.

Please support our cafeteria by eating a school lunch throughout this week!

Students will participate in a safety drill at 9:30 on this day. Law enforcement will be preset at the school while we conduct this safety drill.

We will dismiss at 12:30 on this day as it marks the end of the 1st Quarter. Report cards will be posted on Teacher Ease on Friday, October 23rd.

Motivational Mondays with Ms. Manar

Students who have chosen the remote only option will have the opportunity to talk with one another, participate in special activities, and ask questions each Monday LIVE with Ms. Manar. We hope you will join this Monday, September 28th. Students in grades K-4 should login by clicking on the link below at 2:00.
