GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Our PTO is currently running a school-wide fundraiser to sell chocolates. Each student who sells a box will receive a dress down day September 23 and/or September 24 and will get the chance to win up to $100 cash! This is a great fundraiser for the school through PTO and we get $30 for every box we sell.

Our school would like to use these funds to help with modifications to the soccer field along with equipment and supplies for our performing arts and athletic programs. So come grab a box and sell those chocolates to support our school and PTO and enter a chance to win up to $100 and an electric scooter.

Students can get their boxes and forms during lunch from the PTO. We only have one more week to sell before the fundraiser closes, so get them while you can.

COMMUNITY COAT DRIVE

Our school is working with the VOA Homeless Youth shelter in Salt Lake City. We will be hosting a coat drive for the fall and winter months. Collections will be held through the month of September here at the school. There will be drop off buckets here at the school in the front office area.

PARENTS AND PATRIOTS

The annual Parents and Patriots event will be Sept 19th from 5:30-8:00pm. There will be bounce houses, and mechanical bull. There will be food trucks and activities for families. Come out and enjoy a night with your fellow Patriots! Admission is free.

RENAISSANCE FEAST

The annual renaissance feast will be held Sept 23rd @ 6:00pm here at the high school. More information is available below.

PICTURE RETAKE DAY

Our picture retake day has been moved to October 1st. Please make that correction on your calendars.

GOLF TOURNAMENT

We are holding our annual Patriot Day Golf Tournament Oct 5th at Talons Cove. Cost is $250 for a foursome or $65 for a single. Winning team gets $500. We will give away clubs, swag, and other prizes as part of the competition holes and raffle. Sign up using the following link:

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCE

Our parent teacher conference is Wednesday, September 25th and Thursday, September 26th from 3:30-7:30pm and 2:00-5:00pm respectively. Teachers will be in the gym and the commons. No appointment times necessary. There is no school Friday, September 27th.

HOMECOMING AND SPIRIT WEEK

Our homecoming spirit week will be September 30-Oct 4th. Homecoming is Saturday, Oct 5th at 7:30pm. Tickets are available during lunch starting that week. They are $15 each or $20 at the door.

State Charter School Teacher-of-the-month

We would like to congratulate Loree Rominger who was selected as the Utah State Charter School teacher-of-the month! Mrs Rominger teaches our IB math classes (SL, studies, and HL). She will be recognized Monday, September 9th at the Utah State Office of Education directors meeting. We are so fortunate to have Mrs Rominger here at Providence Hall!

American Geography Society

Mrs Price, who teaches our yearbook, AP geography, and regular geography classes, was selected to the American Geography Society Fellowship:
