Falcon Flyer

Emily Snay, Brooke Tubbs, and Ty Woodard-Furman all participated in the PMEA District II Band Festival at Bradford Area High School from January 11th - 13th. All three students managed to pass their audition to advance on to the Regional Level. Emily Snay was 2nd Chair on Cornet 2, Brooke Tubbs was 3rd chair on Flute 1, and Ty was 1st Chair on Trombone 2.

Gabe came to help in Mrs. Kosa's kindergarten classroom. He picked this as a Falcon 4 reward. Gabe worked with students on reading and practicing their words. Great job, Gabe!

Owen Carr is a student in Mrs. Keck's classroom. He volunteered his time to visit Mrs. Jensen's Kindergarten class. The students enjoyed playing a counting game with Owen and he challenged them with counting on! Thanks for coming to visit us, Owen!

Ty Woodard- Furman, Gage Bellinger, and Emily Snay participated from 1/24/24 -1/26/24. After auditions, Ty will be advancing to Region II Chorus in March.

Miss Casey is an IU9 paraprofessional who assists in Mrs. Jensen's class throughout the day. Her positive attitude and intuitiveness shine brightly. She demonstrates vast knowledge of positive behavior strategies and de-escalation techniques. She shows up every day with a smile on her face while working two jobs AND continuing her education and raising her family. I am so honored to have her work beside me!

Students in first grade are working on informational writing. They are learning to write on their Chromebooks using Google Docs and Google images. Each student wrote a report with an introductory sentence and a concluding sentence.
