Dear Hill-Roberts Families,

I would like to bring attention to one of our routines which is enjoyed by families here at HRES. Families may drop their students at the walker door before 8:30AM, but understand that their child is unattended. We have had reports of students climbing some of the structures and light posts outside before the doors open at 8:30. If this continues, we will have to cease this past practice and require all students to be attended by an adult prior to the doors opening. Please speak to your child about showing CREST during this time.

For NEXT Monday, the 31st, we're having a spirit day!

-Wear a costume (*costumes: no gore or weapons; make-up and costumes must be put on at home). Please refrain from inflatable costumes.

-Husky Gear

-Fall-themed colors

-Dress up as your favorite book character

As with all new things, we're experiencing a learning curve when it comes to our new website and app. It turns out that if you receive an alert (the little, red 1 on the app) and click on the notification, it brings you to a page that only provides the text, which means you aren't necessarily seeing everything we hoped you would. In the future, in order to see everything, click on the menu in the app and go to the Live Feed by clicking on, "Feed" or you can use a web browser to visit our homepage and scroll down to see the Live Feed.

*this will put the Live Feed from the website right in your pocket...not to mention Rooms. Rooms will be the district's new way to communicate directly to families! If you didn't receive an email, contact your child's teacher.
