Mustang Memo

We are so happy to have our new Mustangs (and returning Mustangs) joining us this year! Our theme this year is "Let's Glow." As always, we want all of our Mustangs learning and growing throughout the year, but we also want our students to discover their talents, their interests, and who they are so that they can shine (GLOW) and feel confident in themselves.

• Correction to Open House paperwork: Drop off in the front is 7:10 and at 7:20 in the back. Please wait for AM duty teachers to come outside before having kids get out of cars and come to the door. The back carline starts at 7:20 to allow teachers and buses to get to school. Please wait down on the Vandergriff drive until then.
• When picking up your student, please pull forward to the sign so that we can load or unload as many students at a time as possible. We try to make the process as quick as possible for all families, which requires everyone to cooperate and do their part! Thank you for those of you who are already doing so! It made each day last week go quicker and quicker.
• When arriving in the front parking lot in the morning, please be conscious of the handicap parking spaces and do not block them while waiting for the 7:10 drop off to begin.
• Message from Vandergriff Elementary: Vandergriff has had many McNair students walk over in the afternoon to catch rides with the siblings there, but it is the expectation that families pick up their McNair students first. Additionally, Vandergriff has reported that they have many McNair families park in the Vandergriff parking lot to let McNair students out to walk over to McNair in the mornings (around 7:25). For their safety, please do NOT allow your students to walk from Vandergriff over to McNair in the mornings; there are buses and cars traveling through the area, and it is not designated for walking at this time of day.
  
• Transportation changes and student messages must be in office by 1:30.
  

• The last day to order McNair merchandise through the PTO is August 31.
• You must present an ID at the camera prior to entering the building.
• No Uber/door dash/etc. deliveries.
