Upcoming Important Dates
December 14th - Makeup work due!
Students must submit all makeup work no later than 3 pm on Monday, December 14th to be accepted without penalty. These will be counted toward the final grades.
December 16th - FAFSA filing event for Seniors
We want to let you know about a great opportunity for students & families on Wednesday, December 16th from 4-7pm. INvestEd is hosting a virtual FAFSA filing event for Marion County schools. Students and families will receive one-on-one, virtual help from INvestEd financial aid experts in filling out and filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Families should have any tax & income information available for both the student & parents to complete the application.

December 17th - End of Semester
Semester 1 ends Thursday, December 17th 2020 for Warren Central High School. All work must be turned in by this date.
Winter Break - December 21st to January 1st
January 4th - 1st day of Semester 2
School will begin virtually for all students on a synchronous schedule on Monday, January 4th. Please make sure students check their email and Canvas over Winter Break.
W.O.W. - Warren on Wheels!
In the first 2 weeks, our Cohort offices visited over 300 homes. They are delivering food, Hot Spots, books, and are finding out what they can do to help each student and their parents. See Week 2 pictures below.

Virtual Resources
Hybrid Black and Gold Scheduled Day Students
- Students will engage in synchronous learning on their assigned Black or Gold day. They should report to each scheduled class on time via Zoom.
- Teachers will take attendance of students who attend and enter that each period in Synergy.
- Once instruction is complete, teachers may assign work or break out into small groups.
- Students should stay logged into the synchronous Zoom for the duration of the period.
- All synchronous Zoom sessions will be recorded and uploaded into Canvas studio for viewing.
- On application days, students will log into Canvas and take their own assignments as well as complete any work assigned.
Fully Virtual Students
- Please continue to follow your regular virtual schedule.
- Check your Warren email and Canvas DAILY!
APEX Students
- Make sure you are spending 5-7 hours a day completing quizzes.
- Email your academic coach or counselor if you need a quiz unlocked.
- Only classes that are completed by December 17th will be added to your transcript as a credit earned.
