Come check out our lost and found and bring home anything that belongs to your shark. We will be donating what is left at the end of the school year.

Each week we will share another of Sierra's IB policies that serve as the foundation of our International Baccalaureate program at Sierra. This week we are featuring the Sierra Assessment Policy. The purpose of the Assessment Policy is to inform our school’s population about Sierra Elementary School’s rationale for assessment and to inform parents, students, and teachers about the clear expectations and various assessments occurring. FAMILY BINGO NIGHT – NEXT FRIDAY, 4/21

We are excited the first Family Bingo Night at Sierra! Doors open at 5:00, and the first game is around 5:45. There are great prizes for every round (check out pictures in the flyer below or stop by the front office for a sneak peek). Pre-register here for your bingo and meal tickets by 4/19.

Rocklin Unified School District is excited to partner with Banetta Bacchi to offer families of elementary students a parenting class series to provide guidance and support to turn the challenges of raising a child into growth opportunities. This six-week class will be centered on Love and Logic techniques and will begin Tuesday, April 18 through Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Rocklin Unified School District Office. To ensure compliance with RUSD and the state of California's volunteer policies, parents who wish to volunteer on campus during the school day must have:

RUSD Policy:

• Fingerprinting completed for RUSD specifically. Prior fingerprinting done for any agency or organization other than RUSD will not be accepted. Fingerprinting takes approximately 72 hours to clear.
• Current Tuberculosis Test (TB). TB tests expire every 4 years and must be renewed in order to volunteer. TB Tests take approximately 48-72 hours for results and results must be brought to the office.
