Happenings Around The District This Week
2022-2023 School Year Calendar
SPECIAL EDUCATION PLAN
The special education plan describes the district’s commitment to ensure that a quality education will be provided to each of its students with a disability eligible for special education over the upcoming three years. The plan describes the special education program and services that are provided by the district. The district is required to make this available for public review prior to formal approval by the School Board. This will be before the Board for approval at the July meeting. COUNCIL ROCK EDUCATION FUND - THE GIFT OF GRATITUDE
The end of the school year is finally here, and our students and staff couldn’t have done it without supporters like you! Let’s celebrate our students and thank our Council Rock School District (CRSD) educators and staff by giving the Gift of Gratitude. Consider honoring a current CRSD student or staff member, or maybe a retiree or alum, with a meaningful and lasting donation to the Council Rock Education Foundation (CREF) in their honor.
Donations to CREF help to fund innovative projects and programs, elevating the educational experience for growing minds. Let’s come together to celebrate all that has been achieved by so many this school year.
A beautiful card designed by Council Rock art students, with a customized message, can be sent directly to the special person of your choice commemorating your impactful gift. Click here to make your Gift of Gratitude today!
Since 2007, CREF has committed nearly $500,000 in support of 150 innovative learning initiatives benefiting Council Rock students. Funding above the annual school budget affords our students opportunities like exploring the pyramids of ancient Egypt through virtual reality, engaging with nature in a newly constructed outdoor classroom, or acquiring crucial business skills by operating an e-commerce website. All this is possible because of the unwavering commitment from CRSD teachers and staff, AND meaningful contributions from people like you.
Thank you for joining together to support our community – you ROCK!
Sincerely,
The Council Rock Education Foundation Board of Directors
P.S. For more information on how to get more involved with CREF, please contact Beth Anne Dobosh at bethanne.dobosh@creducationfoundation.org.
