A MESSAGE FROM BRIAN FORSHEE, CFHS PRINCIPAL
We hope that everyone is CHARGED UP for the 1st Day of School - All of us at Fulshear High School are excited to meet our students and kick off a great year! Monday when students arrive, they will report to the cafeteria until released to go to classes.
Students can print their schedules from home or will be allowed to use their phones to view their schedules: Room 1117 and 1223 (next to the library). We ask that students take a “screenshot” of their schedule tomorrow morning so that they can refer to the photo throughout the day without wifi being a concern. If students do not have access to their schedule online, we will have two computer labs open for assistance with viewing their schedules. Please check your class schedule room number to verify what campus you are to report to 1st period. (Freshman - if you class schedule room is R-A(Number) you will report to the Fulshear High School Annex.) Rooms without the R-A are held at the main CFHS building.
- Please utilize QR codes/links below for schedule changes – Deadline to request a change is August 17th.
- Students will begin receiving their new ID badges during lunches this week.
- NO OUTSIDE FOOD DELIVERIES EX: UBER EATS, DOORDASH, ETC.
WE ARE GRANTING A PHONE EXCEPTION FOR YOU TO VIEW YOUR SCHEDULE (FOR TEACHER NAME AND ROOM NUMBER)! THERE SHOULD BE NO OTHER REASON TO BE USING YOUR PHONE OTHER THAN AN INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITY WITH YOUR TEACHER.

School Traffic
As schools across the country begin the 23-24 academic year, it is important to remember that the first few weeks can be a hectic and chaotic time. With the hustle and bustle of students, teachers, and staff returning to school, traffic can be particularly challenging, especially during the morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up times.
We would like to kindly request that you please be patient during this time. Although it may be tempting to rush through traffic to get your child to school on time, it is important to remember that safety should be the top priority. Speeding or reckless driving can put everyone on the road in danger, including your child.
Instead, we suggest leaving a few minutes earlier than usual to allow for any potential delays or congestion. Additionally, carpooling with other parents or using alternative modes of transportation such as our district busing transportation can help reduce traffic and improve safety for everyone.
Buses will be dropping off behind the school and students will use the LGI Entrance. Any student who are dropped on in front of the school will use the main entrance.
ONLY BUS TRAFFIC BEHIND THE SCHOOL - GATE WILL BE CLOSED 7:30-4:00

A response will be e-mailed to the e-mail address that you provide on the form, so make sure that it's an e-mail that is checked regularly.
A. Student is a senior not scheduled in a course needed for graduation
B. Student has already earned credit for a course in which he/she is currently scheduled
C. Student does not have prerequisite(s) for a class on his/her schedule
D. Level Change (can only take place before school begins, then after the 3rd week of class)
E. Student has been dismissed from a program where approval must be granted for placement
F. Student does not have a complete schedule
G. Data error (no lunch, class listed twice, free period, etc.)

Discipline Code Chart (pg 170-171)
Posession of ANY E-Cigarette (vape or device), regardless if it contains THC or not, is a MANDATORY ALC PLACEMENT! Do not bring this anywhere on campus! (Code DRP pg. 170)
"Students are allowed to bring their own telecommunication devices to school, ALL DEVICES must remain in student backpacks for the duration of the day. Students will be allowed to take out and use their devices at lunch only unless otherwise directed by administration. Teachers also have discretion to allow device use in class for instruction purposes only. Students must follow teacher and district rules in regards to using their device. Using a phone in school is a privilege that can be revoked at any time." (pg. 156)
"A student who refuses to turn over his/her electronic device when asked by a school employee will have a disciplinary action in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct, ranging from a minor major offense to an expellable offense. The use of a mobile telephone or any device capable of capturing images of any violation of the student code of conduct is strictly prohibited while at school or at school-related or school-sponsored events."

"If an individual uses a phone to video individuals in a private setting (bathroom/locker room) or compromising situation, then it will be coded a "State Jail Felony.

Lamar CISD has a standard dress and grooming policy that we follow.
As the principal of CFHS, I felt we needed a simple visual to ensure we have a clear understanding of the expectations for all students and staff before the first day of school.

Freshman Update - Fulshear High School Annex
Please check your class schedule room number to verify what campus you are to report to 1st period. If your class schedule room number is R-A(Number) you will report to the Fulshear High School Annex.
When students log into Skyward and access their schedule, they will notice that their room numbers for Fulshear High School Annex will have an R-A(Number). (R-A indicates Roberts Annex). Please check room numbers to see what campus students are to report to.

Parking is now CLOSED! We are FULL.
As construction barriers begin to move, more parking will open back up. We will be using a wait list for all. Must join wait list in order to receive a parking spot- we will process as more parking is released.

Senior Cap and Gown Pictures
ATTENTION CLASS OF 2024!
ALL CFHS CLASS OF 2024 STUDENTS MUST HAVE A SENIOR PORTRAIT TAKEN TO BE IN THE 2024 YEARBOOK AND IN THE SENIOR SLIDESHOW AT GRADUATION!
There is NO CHARGE for the yearbook/slideshow pose, but Seniors MAY order additional portrait packages from Cady Photography!

Join us at Meet the Chargers to see the football, cross country, volleyball, swim, choir, cheer, Storm, band, golf, athletic trainers, and tennis teams. We will be at the Fulshear Stadium this Friday at 7 PM.
