Reminder: Picture Retake Day...
Hello Glenview Gators!
Hoping that everyone had a great weekend and took some time to get outside to enjoy the beautiful weather - it's definitely hard to believe that it is November.
Thank you Glenview students and families for attending GMS conferences, it was great to see the halls filled with families learning more about supporting their students learning.
SHOUT OUT to the GMS Staff - THANK YOU for all you do each day and the great turn-out for conferences was a direct reflection of your hard work.
Armed Forces Week...
Throughout the district this week we will be celebrating Armed Forces Week - show your support each day by wearing the COLOR of the day. The different days and colors are explained below - Looking forward to seeing the halls full of the Color of the Day...
Monday
- Gold - Identified for parents and widows of service members who lost their lives in the U.S. Armed forces it also identifies to bring all service members home safely.
Tuesday
- Armed Forces Apparel - Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force, Space Force
Wednesday
- Purple - Symbolizes all the Branches of the Armed Forces
Thursday
- Camouflage apparel or Armed Forces apparel
Friday
- RED, WHITE and BLUE apparel
- 13 folds of American Flag Assembly for 6th grade at 9:00am in the GMS South Gym
This Week...
- Armed Forces Week - Spirit colors each day - Show your support!
- Basketball and Cheer Photos will be during practice on Monday, November 6 - Flyers were sent home with students.
- Glenview Staff vs Lady Gator (8th grade Volleyball Team) Tuesday, November 7 at 2:50pm - 3 can goods to enter to support the Student Hunger Drive
- This week GMS Boys Basketball begins with games both Tuesday (@Seton) and Thursday (@Glenview) The theme is Camouflage.

GMS Activities and Athletics: Announcements and Updates...
- Boys Basketball Season kicks off this week! We will have theme days for the home games all season - see above for Boys Basketball Theme Days.
- Admission is $1 for students and $2 for adults. Go Gators!!
- Basketball and Cheer Photos will be during practice on 11/6. Flyers have gone home with students.
