In the Classroom
On Thursday, December 21st, Choral and Concert Band students enjoyed performing to the elementary students and senior citizens across town!
The week before vacation, several of our multi-lingual learner students got together for a holiday exchange!
Before the vacation, a couple of our Bulldog Buddy Alumni returned to make cookies with our Pathways and Transitions Program friends!
Alumni Panel Hosted for Seniors
The guidance department along with journalism teacher Ms. Walsh hosted an alumni panel for our seniors on Thursday, December 21st. Thank you to seniors Mary McPartlin and Tony Ciano for hosting the event. Questions were awesome and the insight from our alumni was valuable on their post high school experiences.
Financial Aid/FASFA Info for Seniors
Please see the message below from Guidance Director Ms. Black, sent via email to seniors this week.
Students and families will have ample time to complete the 2024-25 FAFSA and do not need to rush to fill out the form immediately during the soft launch. If you visit the site during a pause, check back later to access the form.
You can access the FAFSA here. Remember: The student and parent/legal guardian must have an FSA ID to access and submit the FAFSA.
FAFSA information and help events can be found here.
We will keep families informed about new and additional FAFSA supports and resources.
Visit https://studentaid.gov/announcements-events/fafsa-support for more information on what to expect during the soft launch.
Leading up to and as part of the soft launch, we have identified some minor issues affecting user experience. We are aware of these issues and are working to resolve them. For additional questions or to report an issue, please contact https://studentaid.gov/help-center/contact
Athletic Updates
South Shore League Sportsmanship Liaison and long time Rockland Athletic Director, Gary Graziano promoted good sportsmanship with Coaches Damon and Serino, prior to the Rockland/Abington Boys Varsity game. Rockland won the South Shore League Sportsmanship Award last year, a designated voted on by the league towns.
Lots of fun action over the vacation and this week, at home. Several of our athletic teams, including cheerleading and winter track got into the holiday spirit!
Congratulations to our Wrestling team on a win over Randolph this week!
