Superintendent’s Message: Enrollment Balancing Core Values Survey - we need your voice!
Bellview, Helman, and Walker Families -
Last week, we introduced the process of enrollment balancing and the opportunity for parent/guardian involvement in the work of our enrollment balancing committee. In case you missed it, here is a link to last week's newsletter with detailed reasons for re-balancing and a link to our enrollment balancing process web page that answers frequently asked questions (FAQs) and outlines the work ahead.
WE NEED YOUR VOICE! - Take the Survey
This week, we are seeking community and staff input through a core values survey that will guide the work of the committee. The survey will be open through October 31. If you have a child in the Bellview, Helman, or Walker attendance zones, please take a few moments to complete the survey and share your thoughts.
COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITY
If you are interested in serving on the committee as a representative for Bellview, Helman, or Walker, please click on the link below this message to complete the application by October 14 (or until all seats are filled).
Committee membership will be limited to two parent-guardians for each of Bellview, Helman, and Walker. Additional members will include principals, a central office administrator and two staff from each site.
Committee members must work by values that serve all children and be willing to commit to 12-15 hours of meeting time between now and February 27. See the enrollment balancing web page for dates.
QUESTIONS?
Please reach out to your building principal if you have questions about the committee or the survey, or specific questions relevant to your child.
Thank you for all you do to keep our community a great place for kids
