The North American Chapter of the Mindfulness-Integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (MiCBT) Institute is pleased to announce a new 1-day workshop focused on addressing Chronic Pain and Trauma. New course! “Advanced Skills in Mindfulness-based Interventions: Navigating the Ethics in and of Mindfulness” (4.5 CE credits)
As the use of mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) continues to expand to new clinical issues and settings, psychologists have an ethical responsibility to reflect on how the principles and values of the Code may apply to the use of MBIs. In this new web-based course, Dr. Lynette Monteiro uses a combination of didactic, experiential, and reflective activities to explore the clinical implications of ethics that are intrinsic in MBIs and the ethics of using MBIs in specific settings.
