We believe in the Madison Motto. We recite it each day with the pledges. Ask your student, how does he or she act responsibly at school, at home and in the community.

5th Graders can now submit applications for Choice Schools. & Magnet Programs. Students will get an overview of the schools from the school counselor. Visit the webpage for more information and to complete the application. Which Choice School or Magnet Program will work best for your student and your family? Start your search at http://saisdchoice.com.

Please turn you clocks back on Sunday, Nov. 6th. "Fall Back". Drivers, remember to proceed with caution in the mornings. It will remain dark during morning school drop off.

Tuesday, November 8th is election day. It is a regular school day for SAISD students. Please exercise your right to vote. If you have already voted, thank you for practicing your civic duty. Voting is a way to show your student how to practice citizenship. Citizenship is one of the character pillars we teach. We always welcome teaching moments at home and in our community. Thank you.

Veterans Day is Friday, November 11, 2022. We do have school on Veterans Day. Please help us honor our Veterans. Wear red, white and blue on Veterans' Day.

Enjoy the Thanksgiving break with family and friends. Take time to help someone or pay it forward with kindness. See everyone back at school on Monday, November 28th.

We have not yet started to test on campus for COVID-19. We will begin testing as soon as our district, Community Labs, and TEA establish guidelines. Contact me if you have questions. I will send out updates and registration qr codes when I have a start date. Thank you for your patience.
