Glimmer - Advent Week 1

This year, Traci and I are making a weekly video series to be a resource for any small groups that might benefit from it. Our prayer is that you will be able to focus on Jesus, His birth and His eventual return in a way that brings you peace during this occasionally chaotic season.

Here is the first video in our Advent series for 2023: Glimmer.

This week, we explore one of the most beautiful images used to describe Jesus - the light. And we discuss a practice to help us focus on the ways where we see Jesus showing up in our daily life to help us combat the negative triggers we may encounter.

We encourage you to watch this video on your own, or with your small group. Then you should be able to have some great discussion as you look for evidence of the light of Jesus in your life.

In the video above, we talk about Dwelling in the Word with your small group.Dwelling in the Word is a great way to center your small group on the Spirit at the start of your meetings together. This video is a tool for small group leaders that explains one way of incorporating this practice into your times with your small groups.
