Counselor Corner
Time sure is going fast this year! The counseling department is in the process of becoming certified as a Gold Star School for our Comprehensive Counseling Program. To obtain such an honor, we need to conduct a Student Needs Assessment. Mrs. Rhymer and Miss Megan will work with all students KG-5 to complete this assessment during March guidance lessons. This assessment will help the counseling program set goals and identify areas we can better provide services for student academic, behavioral, and emotional success.
Family Activity
Mind Yeti: Power Up Your Gratitude
In this activity, you can help your child(ren)understand why and how they can be thankful for big things and little things in their lives. Ask your child What is something big that you are grateful for? Why? Share something big that you are grateful for. Ask your child What is something little that you are grateful for? Why? Share something little that you are grateful for.
As always, if you have questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Rhymer at 260-692-1012 or Miss Megan at 260-692-1122.
