Dear Caregiver,

Did you know attendance matters? Our staff is making a special effort to ensure that all students fully benefit from their education by attending school regularly. Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school—and themselves. Your child can start building this habit in kindergarten so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Consistent attendance will help children do well in high school, college, and at work. Attendance is a leading indicator of student success in school and post-school life. What is considered “Good Attendance”?--Missing 5 or less school days within a school year.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

 Set a regular bedtime and morning routine and talk to your student about the importance

of attendance

 Prepare for school the night before, finishing homework and getting a good night’s

sleep.

 Avoid appointments and extended trips when school is in session.

Our 1st Skating Party of the school year is on Thursday August 29th at The Roller Cave from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Join the PTA for $7 and receive a discount card.

Our 1st PTA meeting of the school year will be held on August 27th @ Eastridge Elementary School (enter through door 1). PTA meetings begin at 6 pm and end at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Breakfast is available daily to every student free of charge. Breakfast is served in the classroom from 7:55AM-8:15AM.

Lunch is available daily to every students free of charge. Lunch is served in the cafeteria.

Kinder Lunch - 10:45AM - 11:15AM

1st Grade Lunch - 11:18AM - 11:48AM

2nd Grade Lunch - 11:51AM - 12:21AM

3rd Grade Lunch - 12:24AM - 12:54AM

4th Grade Lunch - 12:57AM - 1:27AM

Please refrain from bring fast food into the building during student lunch times. We encourage you to eat a school lunch or pack a lunch from home.
