Family Steam Night

FTC Famiy STEAM Night will be held at Albright on Wednesday, March 15th from 6:30-8:30 pm. There will be many activations and projects for kids of all ages, including Rigamajig, Giant Tinker Toys, slime playground, and more. Join us at 7:45 pm when Mad Science will put on a highly interactive Fire & Ice show that includes fascinating science demonstrations with air pressure, fire, bubbling potions and more. Students will explore observations and hypotheses, and conduct experiments with "Eggbert", a flamboyant egg that can't fit into his house. The children will be on the edge of their seats when they see how a magician makes fire appear and disappear, mesmerized by ice that doesn't melt, and so much more. This is one show you don't want to miss!

Family STEAM Night is open to the entire district, including future Little Vikings! This is not a drop off event. A parent or responsible adult must stay.

NO MORE E-PAY! We have rolled out a new way to pay for lunches, school fees and activity fees for students. You can sign up here https://saltcreek48.revtrak.net/. Or you can go to your parent portal in skyward, click on the fee payment tile, then in the far right hand top corner click on the "make online payments" button. This will take you to Revtrak. Make sure to sign up before you try to make payment. Once you can sign in, click the Make a Payment button in the middle of the page. This new service will streamline the payments so you can make a payment or set up recurring payments. This is directly connected to Skyward so you see the money immediately go to your child's account. If you have any questions please email or call your school office.

The DuPage County “Smile Squad” is coming to Albright Middle School on Friday, April 28th! The Smile Squad is a fully equipped dental truck that provides free dental services to all students, including a cleaning and sealants if needed. If your child participates, the Smile Squad will provide proof of an exam that meets the Illinois State school requirements. If you are interested in your child participating, please email msimmons@saltcreek48.org or call the office and request a consent form be sent home with your child.

As a reminder, all 6th graders and any new/transfer students are required to have a dental examination on file by May 15th, 2023. The dental exam must be dated between November 15th, 2021 - May 15th, 2023. The link to the Illinois Dental Exam form is below. It is also available on our school website.
