A Letter from the Headmaster
Dear Parents,
We are quickly approaching the holiday break and the end of our first official semester. Our scholars have been working hard and are due a welcome break. However, while taking a break, they can still enjoy some of the excellent literature that is provided in our curriculum. I would like to thank those who helped make our Veterans Day Joint Concert a success. It was great to see our scholars living and sharing the Virtues we teach. We will continue to teach and provide opportunities to demonstrate our Standards of Virtue. Please take note of our "Do the Good" campaign to reach out and brighten the holidays for the residents of the Lifecare of Orange Park facility, we appreciate your support.
While our scholars have shown a great amount of academic growth, they have been growing physically as well. During this holiday break, take time to reassess uniform needs for your scholars. If the need is there to reorder, keep in mind how much they will grow between now and the end of the school year. Should you have uniforms your scholars have outgrown, please consider donating to the SJCA-OP Uniform closet for school use with students who have accidents or whose families are in need.
We wish you all a safe and enjoyable Christmas season and look forward to seeing you in 2024!
Parents and guardians, thank you for your continued support, and as always, have a Great Lion Day!
Mr. Bradley
Headmaster

Do the Good: Holiday Outreach Project
We are Reaching Out and Encouraging the Residents of Life Care Center of Orange Park
This holiday season we would like to bless a local retirement facility. We have contacted Life Care Center of Orange Park, located on Kingsley Avenue, and they have given us a list of things the residents would like to make their holidays a little brighter. The Life Care Center of Orange Park has, on average, 180 residents. Please use the QR code to visit their Amazon wish list to make buying and receiving the items easier.
Any donation is greatly appreciated! Donations are due no later than Wednesday, December 13.
Also, be on the lookout for a date and time where scholars and their families can volunteer to personally deliver these items to residents!
ATTENTION PARENTS!
We are looking for some amazing stories from you to publish in future editions of The Lion Line. Simply answer this question, "Why did you choose St. Johns Classical Academy and what has it meant for your family?"
