Middleton Building Repair Update

We wanted to provide a brief update on the construction project at our school. The work to repair the flood damage in our A and B pods has continued to progress and the crew is currently installing insulation and drywall in these areas. Following this, the team will reapply wallpaper and paint to the walls, completing the project. We are awaiting a confirmed date for expected project completion before we will be able to finalize a plan for our PreK-2 classes to move back into their classrooms. We will share those details with you as quickly as they become available.


We continue to work closely with both our construction project managers and our insurance carrier to pursue the most aggressive timeline available to us for repairs, and will continue to keep you updated as we go. Our team is dedicated to doing everything we can to support our families and students throughout this process. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

Nutrition Services Celebrates Valentine's Day

On Wednesday, February 14th, Nutrition Services celebrated Valentine's Day with our students by offering a whole-grain rich, pink frosted sugar cookie and an all red salad bar featuring fresh strawberries, apples, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes and more. Happy Valentine's Day Sherwood Students!

Volunteering- There are many opportunities to volunteer at Middleton. All volunteers will need to a) complete a background check. A new background check must be completed for each school year.
  • Background checks are completed online: Background Check Forms. Background checks may take up to 10 days to process.
  • The state of Oregon no longer requires COVID vaccinations for PK-12 school volunteers.


PAC- Our parent volunteer group is a very important part of our school. We are in need of several volunteers to support upcoming events. If you are interested, reach out to middletonpacboard@gmail.com to learn more about how to get involved.

SHS Bowmen Pageant - February 24

The annual Sherwood High School Bowmen Pageant will be held Saturday Feb. 24 at 6pm in the SHS auditorium. Advanced online tickets are $10 through Thursday Feb. 22. Tickets can also be purchased at the event for $15 (cash or check only).
