Superintendent's Report
Strategic Plan: The board is now receiving regular updates on various parts of the district's Strategic Plan. Monday night, they heard about progress on the priority for Unity, Belonging, and Student Efficacy (UBSE). Soraya Matthews, the district's UBSE chief, reviewed three main strategies for her team and the status or progress made. "This impacts every school, every department, our entire district," she noted.
Action Meeting Preview: Superintendent Demetrus Liggins outlined items coming up for a vote at the Feb. 26 meeting and gave the board members opportunity to ask questions of district staff.
