Principal's Message
Fuller Families,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and ready for the exciting events we have coming up this week and beyond. As we delve into the heart of the fall season, there are some important updates and activities I'd like to share with you.
Our PTO meeting is scheduled for this Monday evening at 6:30 in the Fuller Library. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved and stay informed about all the wonderful initiatives happening at our school.
We're in the final stretch of our Socktober Sock Drive. If you haven't had a chance to donate new socks for those in need, please consider doing so before the week is over. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Mark your calendars for a ghoulishly good time at our annual Trunk or Treat event! It will take place on October 26th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the school parking lot. We're also accepting candy donations in the front office. As a special incentive, each student who donates candy will receive a Principal's Acknowledgement and be entered into a drawing for some spooktacular prizes.
Our Kindergarten students are headed to the pumpkin patch on October 17th. Please ensure your child is prepared and excited for this fun adventure. We thank our dedicated teachers and parent volunteers for making this trip possible.
I must address a serious issue that we've been encountering recently. We have had instances of graffiti in our restrooms, especially in the 3rd through 5th grade bathrooms. I kindly request parents to speak with their students about the importance of respecting our school building. Vandalism not only damages our facilities but also creates an unsafe environment for everyone. Students found responsible for these actions will be disciplined to the maximum extent, in accordance with our district's student code of conduct.
Next week, October 23rd through 26th, we'll be celebrating Red Ribbon Week, a time to promote drug awareness and healthy life choices. Please see the attached flyer for specific dress-up days and activities to engage your child in the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community. Fuller Elementary thrives because of the strong partnership between parents, teachers, and students. Together, we can make this a memorable and successful school year.
As always, remember, we are Fuller, we are Family!

Dismissal Issue
When the cars park in the red marked areas, vehicles exiting the car line cannot exit safely without coming out in the street. So to prevent any accidents, I will be placing 6 cones in the area. I have suggested to parents who parked there, to pull up to the school zone sign and park there.
I have included a map of the location with "NO PARKING IN RED AREAS" on the map.
Important Information
- Anyone entering the building MUST be prepared to show ID BEFORE entering
- IDs or car tags will be checked at dismissal for car and walk ups.
- Please label all jackets, lunch boxes, and water bottles.
- Transportation changes must be sent to FESTransportation@aubreyisd.net by 2PM daily.
- No visitors for lunch until after Labor Day.
- Instruction begins at 7:40 (students MUST be in seats by then)

Attendance
Good attendance is important for many reasons. Your child receives the maximum benefit of education by being in school every day, and numerous studies show a strong link between academic performance and consistent attendance.
A compulsory attendance notification will be sent to the parent if a student has unexcused absences on 10 or more days or parts of days within a six-month period or three days or parts of days during a four-week period. Notice it says “parts of days.” This means that leaving school early, or arriving excessively late in the day, even if the child attended for some of the day, may count as an absence.
In the state of Texas, Pre-K is not required, however, once you enroll your student in school, all attendance laws apply.
