Due to the Memorial Day holiday, there is no school Monday, May 31. Enjoy the long weekend.

Classes will resume on Tuesday, June 1 at the usual times.

The final day of the school year is Tuesday, June 8. Students will be dismissed at the early dismissal times that day (same as a Friday)

If you did not have a chance to order a yearbook for your child, we have a limited number of them available for sale in the office. The cost is $9 and cash and checks made payable to Scholastic Reflections are acceptable. Virtual families may come during office hours to pick one up. In-person families amy send monies to school with their child.

Although the end of the school year is quickly approaching, we ask that you please review the district’s Close Contact Procedures (English and Spanish) and Student Sick Procedures (English and Spanish) that remain in place. We appreciate your review and ongoing support as we strive to finish this abnormal school year.

Attention 4th graders and their parents/guardians!

Please visit the orchestra sign up website where students and their parents can watch videos about the instruments and complete the registration form if they are interested in signing up for orchestra. There are instruments available to borrow, free of charge from the district for qualifying families, so please don't let finances stand in the way of signing up! Music is for EVERYONE. We can't wait to see you in orchestra! (Band sign-up will be in September.)

5th graders, it is not too late. If you sign up for the summer beginner course, you will be able to play in the middle school orchestra or band! But don't delay, sign up is now. Please contact your orchestra or band teacher for details.

Every first and third Thursday of the month, St. Anthont of Padua Catholic Church hosts a food pantry. Drive up service is available. See the image below for more details.

Please make sure your child arrives at school with a mask. We are still seeing a number of students arriving to school without a mask. Masks are still required at all times in the building unless students are eating.

4K: Monday-Thursday: 7:25 - 10:35AM (only)

Please do NOT pull into the Grewenow parking lot to pick up or drop off your student(s) before or after school. We have many students who walk through the lot to line up on the north playground, and we don’t want anyone to run the risk of hitting a walker accidentally. The only vehicles in the lot after school are our buses and they do not depart until after the majority of walkers are off school grounds.

At this time, visitors are not allowed in KUSD buildings. If you need to turn something in or drop something off for your child, you can

• Drop something off, ring bell at Door 1 and place it in the Door way

If you need to pick your child up early, call the office ahead of time so we can have them ready. When you arrive, you can come to Door 1 and ring the bell, OR call the office, and we will send them out Door 1 (the new main entrance)

Unless notified by your child's teacher, no new pick ups this week. If families have outstanding items to pick up they may do so at the following times

• Thursdays 12:00 - 2:00PM and supplies are able to be picked up at the Main Entrance.
• Any day of the school week 7:15AM - 3:00PM, families may call ahead to make arrangements to pick up supplies for their student.
• ***Evening time arrangements can also be made with a call in advance on a limited basis***
