What Are We Leraning?
ELA:
Kindergarten is focusing on going places. What makes a place special? What are special places to us?
1st and 2nd grade's first unit focuses on "My Neighborhood". What are important places in your neighborhood? Who lives in our neighborhood?
Math:
Kindergarten is learning to count, write, and identifying numbers to 10!
1st and 2nd grade is working on addition to 20.
As a class, we practice money skills weekly.
Science:
We are learning about the difference between hot and cold. This will lead into our unit about energy!
Social Studies:
What does it mean to be responsible? We are learning about responsibility at school, home, and in society.
