Upcoming Author Visits!
Jean pass for every teacher who sends me a photo of their class participating in the live presentation.
It's Inventory Time!
Inventory is of great importance to our school. It serves as a guide in collection development by identifying areas of strength and weakness. Additionally, it is highly effective in identifying losses through theft or other means and in permitting the reshelving of items that have been misshelved.
The library will be closed from December 4th through the 15th. This means that no books may be checked in or out of the library during this time.
Cardboard Gingerbread House Display
Join in on our annual Cardboard Gingerbread House display! You and your child are invited to make and decorate a cardboard gingerbread house to show off in the Behlau Library. The house can be painted or otherwise decorated with real candy or craft materials. You can find a template below by clicking the photo below.
We will display the houses in the library for all to see and enjoy. The students will be asked to fill out an index card with their name and teacher’s name that will be posted by their house.
Gingerbread houses should be brought beginning November 27th and will be sent back home with the students on December 14th and 15th. Any houses left after the 16th will be thrown away.
Please contact your librarian, Veronica Martinez with any questions.
