Principal's Message
Good afternoon CHS students and families,
Thanks to everyone who participated in ACT and Pre-ACT testing. These Collegeboard tests are important measures of students’ knowledge and can be helpful for students in the college admission process.
Our students continue to shine in various ways. Football is traveling to Summit High School tomorrow in the first round of the state playoffs. Women’s Soccer picked up a big win against Corvallis in the first round and is playing in the second round at Wilsonville on Saturday. Cross Country is competing at State on Saturday as well, and our Dance team performed at the League Showcase this week.
The opening of Macbeth is this evening. Please see more information below. Our thespians recently traveled to BPMS to perform a teaser of the show. Our Leadership students hosted a pumpkin carving event. MEChA club sponsored Dia de Las Muertes activities for students to enjoy, and our Manufacturing students recently participated in Manufacturing Day at Clackamas Community College.
Finally, remember that schools are closed next week on Friday, November 10 to honor our Veterans. We are coming closer to the end of the trimester, so please remind students to double check their Studentvue.
As always, it is my privilege to serve your students every day. CHS students are truly amazing!
Have a wonderful week!
Best,
Cari Sloan
