Ethan Pavey, son of Amy Pavey, has been selected as Student of the Week for Newberry High School by Mr. Jordan. Ethan is always respectful and a very responsible student. He is a leader who tries to make positive changes in the classroom and the community. You can catch Ethan with a smile on his face and a confident cheerful mindset. He participates in school sports year-round. Ethan also has an outstanding work ethic and achieves excellent grades in school. It is a pleasure to have Ethan as part of our high school where he is appreciated by all the students and staff. Congratulations and kudos Ethan!
K-6 Wacky Wednesday Schedule
Every Wednesday will be a different wacky day. If your child would like to participate, they will need to pay $1 to their teacher. The funds raised will go directly to your child’s class for field trips or classroom needs.
The following is the April schedule:
April 12: SLIPPERS DAY — Let your feet stay snuggly all day and wear your slippers.
April 19: COLLEGE/SCHOOL DAY—Who is your favorite team? Wear any clothing or hat that shows off your favorite college/school team.
April 26: TEACHER/STUDENT FLIP DAY — Dress like a teacher and you might see your teachers dress like you!
If you have any wacky ideas to share, please contact the office at 293-3226. Thank you for your support of our kids!
