Howard Curriculum Night

The Howard Curriculum Night will be held on Thursday, September 14 from 5 pm - 7pm.

School Committee Meeting

The next School Committee meeting is on Monday, September 11.

School Council Meeting

The next School Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 26 at 2:45 at the Howard School.

Early Release- Our next Early Release is on Wednesday, September 27. Dismissal is at 11:30 am and no lunch will be served.

Aspen Re-Registration- All Families

Reminder to parents to please use this link and make sure you re-register your child by 9/28. It is very important for you to review your child's Aspen information so we have the most current information in case of an emergency. During this process you will also by signing off on important school policies.

Student Drop Off/ Pickup

When dropping off your child in the morning please do not block the back parking lot as teachers need to get into the lot to park in the morning. Please stay along the U part of the roadway. In the afternoon for student pick up you may drive down into the parking lot and up and around thereby lessening the traffic out on the main road.

Student Absences

Please call the school at 508-894-1250 and select (1)to report your child’s absence. An automated call is sent out to any student who is absent.

Student Dismissals

If you need to change your child’s dismissal plan during the school day please call the school by 2:15 pm as the office is very busy just before and during dismissal time.

Notifications

Please download the Apptegy app for West Bridgewater to your cell phone for notification of any school announcements. Any bus issues/delays will be made using this app. For parents who were part of the Rose L. Macdonald school last year please remember to add the Howard School to your notification list.

We're excited to announce that Massachusetts is one of 8 States that has made Universal school meals permanent! All students eat free for both breakfast (snack) and lunch every school day, saving families money and time. Please check out the West Bridgewater Food Services Website for more information and to view lunch menus. Howard's breakfast (snack) menu is not on the website but can be here. A la carte snack items are for sale at meals and students must have money on their accounts to purchase these extra items. Money can be added electronically through MySchoolBucks or cash and checks can be turned in to homeroom teachers in the morning. We encourage parents to register their student for a MySchoolBucks account at www.mySchoolBucks.com or by visiting the MySchoolBucks link on the district website. You will need your student’s 10-digit SASID (state ID) number to register.

Happy new school year! Our After-School Enrichment Program is ready to launch mid-September. At Rose L, we have Model Magic Mania, Sew Fabulous, Legomania, Kids Run the World, and Watercolor Painting!

At Howard, we have Dodgeball, Imagineering Store, Lego Club, Capture the Flag, Online Gaming and Sew Fabulous!
