Each school year a new Free/Reduced meal application must be submitted to determine eligibility. In order to receive Free/Reduced Meal services this year, you will need to submit a new meal application for 2020-2021. If you have not done so already, please submit your application as soon as possible. The quickest way to submit your application is to apply online. Here is the link: https://onlinemealapps.guhsd.net/ It is also available on the Helix website.
By submitting your application and qualifying, it provides your student with fee waiver eligibility and their families with other household discounts. It also brings essential funding to Helix that supports teachers, programs, materials and events at Helix. Thank you for supporting Helix!

Greetings Helix Charter High School families,
We hope you’ve had a great first semester of school! We need your help!
State and federal funding for each school is largely based on the unique characteristics of its students. Our school receives additional funding for students that are foster youth, English language learners, whose parents are active military, receive certain types of state and/or federal assistance, or whose family income is below a certain amount. To ensure our school receives the maximum level of funding, we need you.
By qualifying for the school breakfast and lunch program, you can positively impact the level of LCFF funding provided to support teachers, programs, materials and events at your school. Thanks so much for your help!

I'm a Helix Graduate, "Once a Scottie, Always a Scottie"
I started working at Helix as a football coach in 2000. Yes, when Alex Smith and Reggie Bush played here.
I began working as a Campus Supervisor and Academic Coach shortly after. I am currently the Athletic Equipment Attendant for our Athletics and PE Department and also our Track & Field Hurdles Coach.
I am excited to be working with the class of 2023 Grade Level Team and look forward to seeing you all soon.
