Kindergarten – 4th Grade Quarterly Celebrations:
Quarter 1 (October 31) - One Extra Recess Time (30 minutes) -Grade levels will go out together for an extra recess!
Quarter 2 (January 27) - Game Board Day (45 minutes) - Students will bring their favorite board games and have a free period to play with their class!
Quarter 3 (March 31) - Sidewalk Chalk and Popsicles (30 minutes) - Classes will enjoy a time to draw on the sidewalks and have a popsicle!
Quarter 4 (June 8) - Movie and Popcorn in the classroom - We will show a movie in the classroom and enjoy some popcorn!
5th Grade Quarterly Celebrations:
Quarter 1 (October 31)- EXTREME Recess Time (45 minutes) -5th grade students will go outside for a 45 minute recess time with snacks and music!
Quarter 2 (January 27)- Movie and Popcorn in the theater- We will show a movie and enjoy some popcorn together in the theater! Students will use DOJO points or WD DOJO Dollars to purchase other snacks!
Quarter 3 (TBA)- SOCON Basketball Tournament - Students will ride the bus to downtown Asheville to enjoy a game at the SOCON Tournament!
Quarter 4 - (June 8) - Movie and Popcorn in the classroom - We will show a G-Rated movie school-wide and enjoy some popcorn!
5th Grade Year End Celebration (June 2023) - New this year - All 5th grade students that have 2 or less Office Referrals for the entire year will have the opportunity to go to DOLLYWOOD!!
