AHS Band Competes at Oologah

Congratulations to the High School Band. They went to Oologah this past Saturday and won 1st place Color Guard, and 1st place percussion. They also won 1st place in their class during prelims. The Warriors competed against 24 other bands there and ended up in 8th place overall for prelims. This qualified them to go into finals with the other top 11 bands of the day. The band played the show again and came out in 8th place in the finals. This is the highest place we have ever earned at this contest. The Warriors beat out several 3A, 4A, and even a 5A band. Congratulations to the high school band on their great success this weekend!
