CBC Youth 2023-2024

Welcome CBC Youth to the 2023-2024 ministry year. We're so excited that you're here with us this year and we're praying that God is going to draw you closer to himself. We know that church and youth group can be fun, crazy, intimidating, scary, and unpredictable but we promise that if you stick around, you'll have the opportunities to grow.

The following newsletter will have a little bit of everything you'll need to get introduced to the year. Be sure to read through it and get a snapshot of who we are and what we're doing this year.

Our Core Values make up the DNA of our Youth Ministry at CBC. We want to be first and foremost a ministry that is centered around the Gospel of Jesus Christ as the best and fullness of life. Our core values are then an outpouring of his instructions for his disciples to follow in order to mature into Jesus.

We believe that each and every single core value is important and essential for any Christian (including your youth). Our goal, then, is to come alongside of you parents to equip and join you in this process of maturing the youth in light of these core values. Our programs, philosophy, budget, and counsel are centered around these core values. For a fuller definition, please reach out and we'd love to talk to you more about it!

We believe that youth ministry is a blessing and a serious task for those who desire this particular ministry because of the influence and effects this has on students, their families, and society. We also acknowledge that because we are shepherding minors, we must have the highest standards of our leaders.

The following form is an application for potential and renewing youth leaders who 1) are committed, growing Christians 2) love students & their families, and 3) desire to disciple students & their families towards Jesus.
