Team Curington: One Team, One Dream
Principal's Corner
Hello, Curington Families!
We would like to thank our families and dads for joining us this past week at our Dia de los Muertos celebration and at our All-Pro Dads morning gathering. We appreciate our community's support for staying connected with our school!
This Monday, we will have our annual Veterans Day Ceremony. We are excited to welcome our veterans and families. We invite our community, staff and students to wear Red, White, and Blue to show their patriotic spirit and help honor our nation's heroes! For those of you that pre-registered to attend or helped family to pre-register, please make sure to have you driver's license with you upon arrival.
Our campus goal continues to be 96% or higher each day! We are making a comeback! Thank you for helping us bring your child to school each day. This past Friday, we had a 30-minute Fun Friday with board games for meeting our last campus wide attendance goal!
Have a great week!
Go Cougars!

Thank you for being such an important part of our school community!
Attending School Regularly
Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance.
- Excused or unexcused absences represent lost time in the classroom and lost opportunities to learn.
- Official attendance times are 10am for Elementary and 10:30am for Secondary.
- Appointments should be scheduled at the start or end of the school day to be counted as D=Doctor Appointment Same Day and not as an absence. Students must be present a portion of the day for a D absence code.
- If the student is out the entire day, they are absent.
- Every student's situation is different. If there are barriers keeping your student from being at school, please reach out to us.
Tutors, Crossing Guards and Dads on Duty
We would like to invite anyone interested in tutoring, volunteering, crossing guard after school opportunity or becoming a Dad on Duty to contact our school or email our principal's secretary (Celia.Moreno@Boerneisd.net) for more information. All visitors must have completed a volunteer background from which can be found in our Boerne ISD website page.
