School Fees Feedback Survey
As a part of our annual school fee parent consultation process, we would appreciate any feedback you are willing to provide regarding this year’s school fees: 23-24 School Fees Feedback Survey
At our last School Council meeting in January, we were able to receive feedback from parents who were in attendance. For those of you who were unable to join us, completing the survey would be a great way to get involved in the consultation process. At our next Parent Action Society meeting on March 12, we will present out proposed fees for the 2024-2025 school year before submitting them for approval.
Information about our current fees along with the survey can also be found on the Fees page on the Lakeland Ridge website.
Kindergarten Registration Now Open!
Is your child turning five on or before Dec. 31, 2024? If so, it’s now time to register for kindergarten. To register, simply complete the online registration form at eips.ca/kindergarten. To help families prepare, Elk Island Public Schools has put together an online EIPS Kindergarten Tool kit to make the transition as smooth as possible. The kit includes information on registration, important dates, programming options, what to expect, eligibility, how to find your designated school, transportation and more.
Additional information regarding Lakeland Ridge’s kindergarten program is available at Lakelandridge.ca.
Returning Student Registration
Complete your Returning Student Registration: February 8-21
Elk Island Public Schools’ (EIPS) returning student registration process is now open. All current students, except Grade 12, must complete the online Returning Student Registration Form to confirm their enrolment in a school for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. Additionally, students who want to attend a non-designated school need to make that request through the returning student registration process—acceptance is based on available space. All current EIPS students are required to complete the form by Feb. 21, 2024.
To complete your child’s returning student registration, refer to the Returning Student Registration Form email you received from Elk Island Public Schools via Permission Click on February 8. Families will receive one email for each student. No log in is required to complete the form.
For more information, contact the school directly.

Family Math Games Night
With typical Alberta weather we never know what we will get. Some days will be wet and some days will be cold. What matters is that we all dress appropriately for outdoor activities no matter the weather.
Please ensure your child(ren) have an extra set of clothes in their school bag. Tip: Label extra clothing to leave at school such as socks, underwear, pants and shirt.
*Please also ensure your child has appropriate indoor footwear in the event of an unplanned evacuation.
