I have chosen line 9 from our School’s Creed as the Focus for February: We are committed to our community. This line can be applied to so many different aspects of our lives at school and our lives at home. Our commitment to our community will give us the motivation and strength to continue with our mission as we complete this semester.

Our commitment to our community will be highlighted during Black History Month. We already have scheduled several speakers during Lyceum. Our community is diverse and it should be celebrated!

We are continuing the safety measures that we have put in place since September. The students have a safe learning environment while they are on campus. I have never told a parent that they could not bring their son to campus. Whenever a parent or teacher speaks about attendance or academic concerns, the first thing I recommend is to bring them back to campus. That is my suggestion for any parent that has academic and or attendance concerns.

We are wrapping up the last week of Recruiting for the 2021-2022 school year.
