Happy Spring Break; Happy Easter to those celebrating
Admin Corner
Timeliness
PLEASE help ensure your student arrives to school on time. This may require some adjusting of alarms or time of departure from home, as your student will not likely make it to their classroom in time even if they are walking into school at 9:25am. Let's make punctuality a focus as we start fourth quarter.

MAGIC Makers
Congratulations to our faculty MAGIC Makers, announced at our March faculty meeting. Ms. Leslie Munroe was commended for perpetual readiness, commitment, and easily switching gears as needed. Mr. William Stark was recognized for his positivity, supportiveness, and the countless days he commits after school to help students achieve their endeavors. Ms. Sarah Kinzer was thanked for her support of her colleagues as she stepped in for absent admin and her positivity. Thank you all for the MAGIC you bring JCHS.
Mock Trial
We would like to recognize the achievements of the sixteen students that make up John Champe High School’s Mock Trial club this year. In their first ever year of competition, they qualified both of their teams for the Virginia Mock Trial State Tournament. This was a significant achievement, as the two Champe teams were the only representatives from a public school to come out of Northern Virginia Region 1. At the state tournament in Richmond last weekend, three individuals from John Champe distinguished themselves by earning “All-State” honors. Their performances were judged to be among the top 10 performances for all competitors in their respective categories. Aashritha Pujala and Naija Shah were recognized in the category of Outstanding Witness, and Eva Joseph was recognized in the category of Outstanding Attorney. Moreover, we would like to recognize Eva and her co-president, Aria Parekh, for organizing this club and leading it to these great achievements in their first ever year of competition. We are all so proud of you!

Thank you to HLC South Riding for the partnership and to the community for participating.
