The BIS Bulletin

Grade cards were sent home with students today. When looking at comments, please make sure to look at Q2 comments as the most recent. They are ordered by homeroom and/or subject and then by quarter, so we don't want any comments to get lost in the mix!

Last quarter, we had a grade level reading challenge to see which grade could read the most books. 3rd grade won with almost 300 books read during second quarter! Today they got to celebrate with popcorn and a movie in the gym! This quarter, all grades are working together to earn a reward for the entire school!

The Show-Me Players from the Council for Drug Free Youth came to present and entertain 4th and 5th grade BIS students this week. There were even some familiar faces in the building, as a few of the presenters are current BMS students! The students even got to do some impromptu singing with Mrs. Martin before the show began!

The 5th grade Falcon Flyers will be having a bake sale the week of January 17th. More details to come next week!

The Intermediate Student of the Month for representing the character trait of hard-working is 5th grader, Claira Lane! Congratulations, Claira!
