From our High School Principal
Center High School December-
Hello, Center Parents/Guardians and Students- As the principal at Center High School, we are down to crunch time with our grades, attendance, and credit success. As I write this, we have about 3 weeks of instruction left. I would like to compliment many of our students for going the extra mile to keep up on their grades, attendance, tardies, and daily work. Most of our students are working hard to gain content knowledge and high school credits. Our students who are continually doing the right things in classes will be rewarded with that high school diploma very soon. Personally, I know it takes a team effort to keep up with daily work. The “grit” it takes to have solid grades will pay off in life. That work ethic that a student creates in their teens will create a simpler life in the future with their post-secondary plans. I will continue to compliment those parents/guardians that hold their students accountable for their school work. As the high school Principal, I thank you!
A reminder for parents and guardians- The week of December 20-23rd will be our quarterly assessments. This is finals week for students and their grades. I know that we will be attending school the week of Christmas. But, in turn, we will get the first week off in January. Please do your best to encourage our students to be here on campus until December, 23rd.
I am here to help. Please call me if you have any questions about your child's education.
Thanks,
Mr. Jones
