Teens (ages 13-18), sign up for our new Teen Book Boxes! The book club where we never meet! Every other month we will create 10 themed book boxes. Each box will contain a free book for you to keep and something extra! Some of our extras could be: a craft, a literary themed trinket, stickers, snacks, etc. To get a box, sign up for the event and when your box is ready for pick up, Miss Alyssa will email you. The boxes can be picked up at the Children's Room Desk.

February's theme is: "True Crime On A Dime"

Submit a design for the Library Bookmark Design Contest! Pick up a contest form in the Children's Room and take it home. Once you finish your design, turn it in at the Children's Room desk by February 27. All submissions will be voted on by library staff and a winner will be chosen from each age group: 3-8, 9-13, 14-18. Each winner will have their design printed and made into bookmarks that are available at the library.

Listen to Miss Alyssa read a fun children's book and then make a craft based on the story! This month's theme will be "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" book and a craft! This program is for ages 4-8. Registration is required, sign up online or by calling 518-399-817.4

Stop by the Children's Room in the library and read to Seamus the Dog! Bring your own book or read one of the library's many books! No registration necessary, just drop in and read to our furry friend.

Make a winter tree painting with sticks, glue, paper, q-tips, and paint! Registration required, sign up online or by calling 518-399-8174. This program is for ages 5 and up.

Teens can make a painted and glittery deer portrait! This program is for ages 13 and up. Registration is required, sign up online or by calling 518-399-8174.

Chapter Chat is a "light reads" book club. For fans of authors like Jennifer Weiner, Lauren Weisberger, Christina Lauren, Helen Hoang, Jasmine Guillory, and many more!
