8th Grade Career Day
SMS eighth grade students recently participated in a career day with area businesses and organizations. Students used a game board to demonstrate their interaction with the various booths throughout the morning.
During the afternoon the SHS administration and counselors came to talk to the students about the paths available as the students enter high school. Near the end of the day, the completed game boards from the career fair were entered in a drawing for various prizes. The students pictured above were all lucky winners during the prize drawing.
Before students left for the day, they wrote thank you notes to the businesses and organizations who helped make the day possible.
Student Council's Spirit Week
In preparation for last Friday's dance, the SMS Student Council sponsored a spirit week. The following collection of photos show SMS students/staff enjoying the fun.
