HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Positive Shout Outs
We are off to a great start in the new year! First, we would like to recognize these students for demonstrating their PRIDE behavior. The staff at TJ recognized these students for being kind, responsible, respectful, and dedicated! Check out the picture of these students below.
Let It Snow!
Here is a cute story about one of our students at Thomas Jefferson, Ryan Chinski, a first-grader in Mrs. Perci's class.
Ryan hasn't seen snow in 3.5 years because he lived in CT. He kept bugging his mom about when it was going to snow. She finally told him to just write a letter to Matt Wintz and ask him since he's the expert. She was surprised that Ryan actually wrote the letter, and even more surprised that WKYC actually put it on the air! Check the picture of the letter that Ryan sent and pictures of Ryan in the snow.
Martin Luther KIng Jr.
On Monday, January 17th, we will not have school in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
CARDS FOR THE MILITARY
Thank you to all of our students that made cards for the military. They were very appreciative and excited to read them. It was a wonderful way to express gratitude! Check out the smiles on their faces in the picture below! Nice job TJ students!
