Dear Parents and Community Members,
Happy Friday! Wow – it’s been a fantastic week filled with engaging lessons for our students! From bubble lab work in biology to learning to keep beat in music, our students have had a busy and productive week. I love going into classrooms and having students tell me what they are working on, or going in when teachers invite me to see what they have planned for students. It always amazes me how creative our teachers are and how much students love to talk about their learning!
If you haven’t received a letter with your student’s most recent I-Ready diagnostic scores and Reading Success Plan (RSP) information yet, it should be getting to you any time as letters were mailed last week. If your student requires a RSP more information will be sent to you after the actual RSP has been created for your student. Thank you for your continued patience with us as we navigate through the updates and directives that are still being sent out to us regarding the RSPs. This is a learning curve for all of us, and we sincerely appreciate the support you provide us and your students.
The K-8 discount card fundraiser has started! Your students should have come home yesterday with an envelope that has all the information you need on it. If you have any questions please reach out to your student’s teacher. Happy selling! As always, if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out. My door is always open and I am always willing to help however I can. Have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Kyla Kirtley
Principal
