Leadership Skills

Every six weeks at Young, we will focus on a Leadership Skill. Students will learn about what it means to exhibit that skill during morning announcements, morning meeting time, and guidance lessons with Mrs. Chaney.

Birthdays

Birthdays are special here at Young Elementary, but we don't have time for celebrations in class. Parents are asked to send store-bought treats to be delivered to the office for the class to enjoy after 2:30. No drinks, please. The classroom teachers will be responsible for the treat! This is a school-wide policy for all classes.
