Solanco Early Learning Programs

We are so excited to be able to offer events and activities for our early learners in the Solanco community! One of our very own Solanco high school students recently designed the logo to the right for our program! We plan to display this logo on all of our program flyers and information as we continue to grow our Early Learning Program!

This winter, we hosted another series of our Mini Mules Book Club in person at the Quarryville Public Library and we also offered it virtually in the evenings for families. We are very pleased with our attendance for the events and loved seeing the excitement from the children. We had an AWESOME turn out for our very first Kick off to Kindergarten evening event in which we provided an overview of the kindergarten registration and screening process. We also provided each child with a Kindergarten Readiness kit and folder of activities. If you have a child entering kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year and have not received a kindergarten readiness kit, please contact Brittney Booher to receive one!

We hosted our evening Stories & STEM in Seussville Event at Clermont Elementary on March 1st and had such a blast! The families had the opportunity to enjoy dinner together and engage in literacy, math, and STEM make and take Seuss themed activities.

This spring, we are partnering with the Quarryville Public Library to host a five week series of Play and Learn events on Wednesdays in March and April. We will be at Huffnagle Park on Friday mornings the end of April through the month of May. Please take a moment to read about the events below.

Families of children, birth to 5 years old, are invited to join us in learning and preparing for school readiness through play and exploration!

10-11AM- Birth to 3 years

11-12PM- 3-5 years

We are so excited for our adventures at Huffnagle Park again this spring! We will be there Friday mornings from 10-11AM beginning April 22nd- May 27th, 2022.

Our Park Adventure will include:

• An opportunity for exploratory play at the park with your child and other Solanco families
• An activity for you and your child to do together
• A free book of choice from our book giveaway
• A prepackaged snack for your child
