EBC Family,

I hope you'll join us next Monday night for our annual Fall Festival. This event is a way that we can be a blessing to families in our community by providing a safe place for trick or treating. We still have a dozen spots available for trunks. To participate, call the church office or sign up at the Welcome Desk - decorate your car trunk on Monday the 31st - show up at 5:30. We will provide the candy for you to hand out!

Speaking of candy, thank you EBC for generously donating so much of it. We still have room for more. You can drop it off in the big box that says "Candy" outside of the Worship Center. If you want to help but don't want to decorate a trunk, we need people in concessions - serving popcorn and hot cocoa. Call the church office to sign up.

I love our Fall Festival because it gives me a chance to watch so many of you welcome and befriend the families that attend the event! Sometimes showing the love of Jesus starts by just being a good neighbor; a kind neighbor; a generous neighbor. That's what we're doing on Monday night, October 31st. I hope you'll join us!

Fall Festival

Trunk-Or-Treat October 31, from 6:00pm - 7:30pm EBC west parking lot

Everyone is invited. We will have plenty of candy, popcorn and hot cocoa.

*We still have a few spots available if you are interested in decorating your trunk and passing candy out. We also need volunteers serve popcorn and hot cocoa.

If you are able to help please sign up at the Welcome Desk or call the church office.

A/V Team Training and Dinner

Training for A/V volunteers November 10 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm. Dinner provided. For more information see Craig Jackson.

Event Information

Annual Meeting of the Association at FBC Cordell

The Western Oklahoma Baptist Association meets once a year to conduct business, worship and fellowship together. This year, our new Executive Director of Oklahoma Baptists, Dr. Todd Fisher, is our guest speaker. The meeting will include dinner prepared and served by our Oklahoma Natural Disaster Relief.

EBC will not have a regular evening service on November 6th. Instead we are taking a shuttle to First Baptist Cordell for the Annual Association Meeting and Dinner. The shuttle will leave Emmanuel at 4:15pm and return following dinner.

Everyone is invited to this event! Cost is FREE

Operation Christmas Child

Help make a child's Christmas memorable!

This year we are encouraging everyone to pick up a shoebox from the table outside of the Worship Center. There will not be a packing party. Take your shoebox home fill it and return it to the church by November 20 at our Thanksgiving Dinner.

Ideas to fill your box: soccer ball with hand pump, flashlight, hygiene items, socks, sandals, hair ties, stuffed animal, school supplies, sunglasses, yo-yo, jump rope, watch, kids jewelry, light-up toys, doll etc.

Please no candy, food, glass, scary or war related items.

Ladies Coffee Talk

We want this to be a time to come together and discuss topics of interest to women seeking to "walk out their faith" in their everyday activities.

Bring a drink with you and "refuel" for the week ahead! Childcare is provided in the nursery.
