Happy Friday as we wind down the month of September. The warmer and drier weather of this past week made it easier to get outside for recess, but I'm sure fall-like weather is in the near future.
This morning we had our first Teacher of the Month recognition, which was awarded to Jennifer Granger during Charge Up. Teachers are nominated by other staff members and selected each month for this recognition. We would also like to thank the Vandruff Farmer's Insurance Agency for their support of our school and our staff over the years. Their agency has picked up the cost of the Safe School ID program and continues to recognize our teachers each month for being great teachers!
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be taking place on October 12 and 17 from 4:30 to 8:00 each evening. Contact your child's teacher if you still need to set up a conference time.
