November Food Drive
This is our LAST chance to reach our goal!
We have just over 700 items. Keep them coming. Mrs. Kleinebreil's third grade class remains in the lead with over 100 items.
Our goal is 1000 items by December 1st. Help us hit our goal.
Grade 2 Swimming Program
We will be having an informational session on December 14th to share more detailed information with families and answer questions. The session will be virtual in order to reach more families. A link will be sent closer to the night.
Term 1 Report Cards
It is really important to make them easily accessible to you, so you can see your child's strengths and areas for improvement. It is our goal to have as many families as possible log in to view their child's report card. If there is something we can do on our end to help with this process, please let me know.
Attendance
Many of you are excellent at communicating the reasons why your children are absent, and we are very appreciative of that. THANK YOU! It is extremely helpful to keep everyone on the same page. We recognize and acknowledge that there are REAL reasons why students are absent, and we appreciate you for keeping them home when they are ill. However, these are still days out of school and days accumulate over time. Part of our responsibility, at the school level, is to inform families when students reach a certain number of days out of school - regardless of reasons. We are in the process of preparing this data for you. Our first step is to inform families and support in any way that is needed.
Kindness Tree
November is Kindness Month. We are building a kindness tree filled with leaves of kindness! We will be collecting here at school but wanted to expand this to home. If your child shows an act of kindness to another - fill out this quick form, and we will add a leaf with your child's name. You never know when a small act of kindness can change someone's day.
