Congratulations to this week's Educator of the Week, Ms. Sarah Alberico. Ms. Alberico is a dynamic English teacher at the FBMS, where she also works as the English Department Coordinator.

Ms. Alberico is an enthusiastic educator who brings a student-centered approach to her classroom activities. In addition to her work in the classroom, she does a fantastic job as the Department Coordinator and is always finding ways to improve our English course offerings. This past spring, she was also a key member of the Planning Team that crafted our new 5-year Strategic Plan.

Principal Kemmett put it best when she noted that, "Ms. Alberico is an amazing educator who builds great relationships and connections with both staff and students. She is creative and enthusiastic about teaching and those passions are infectious. As an English Teacher and English Department Coordinator, she works tirelessly to build strong writing and reading skills while also building student interest in literature, poetry, verse, and all genres."

We are fortunate to have her on our team at the FBMS. Congratulations Ms. Alberico!!

Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who took part in our Elementary Curriculum Night. The attendance was fantastic and our educators were able to present their curricular goals and expectations for the year.

MHS students, Anna Sullivan, Gabby Reardon, and Maegan Condon did a fantastic job presenting to the School Committee this week about the amazing work their Gold Ribbon Awareness Club is doing to raise money for childhood cancer awareness. They were joined by their advisors Ms. Hill & Ms. Kantarowski as well.

Go Gold For Hope week will be wrapping up this Friday. Thank you to all who have donated to this worthy cause.

Congratulations to Emily Fecteau, Andrew Robbins, Eli Ruminer and Alexander Wong for being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program (NMSP). These four MHS students were honored by the NMSP as Commended Students from the scores they received when they took the PSATs in October, 2022.

There were 34,000 Commended Students across the country and the program noted that, “Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for

Academic success.” In addition, “these students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.”

All four students also received a letter of commendation that was presented to them by Principal Cetner during the school day earlier this week.
