Sight Words
We will begin our sight word study in October. The link below will take you to a slideshow with all our words for the year so that you can practice at home.
In Reader's Workshop...
We will launch with the We Are Readers Unit! Students will explore concepts of print and storytelling through a variety of texts both with print and wordless. Interactive Read Alouds will set the foundation for good reading habits and reinforce concepts of print.
Teachers will explain RazKids and Epic during Back-to-School-Night. The sites will be ready for you to use later this month.
Use RazKids or Epic to find a digital library of age-appropriate books for your child to read at home! The links to both are below.
