Thanks to everyone who attended the recent PTSA meeting! The discussion was very productive, and we are appreciative of the superintendent, principal, and assistant principal being available to answer questions and participate in discussion. Certain areas of the PTSA Family Feedback Survey were covered, specifically the flow of communication between families and the school/teachers and concerns about behavior issues and conflict resolution.

Please make sure to attend our next PTSA to continue the conversation about other findings from the survey. The date and location will be announced soon. Stay tuned!

If your student is participating or would like to participate in the Reflections program, then they are invited to work on artwork pieces after school on Thursday, December 7. Students will meet after dismissal in Ms. Potter’s classroom. Students must be picked up by 4:45/5 p.m. If you have questions or your student needs access to art supplies, please email sssfrankfort@gmail.com

For several years, the SSS PTSA has supported the staff and faculty with a special holiday luncheon. If you are interested in preparing a dish, please sign up for an item at this link. Dishes will need to be delivered to the front desk of the school on Dec. 15, by 10 a.m. The faculty and staff always look forward to this luncheon and greatly appreciate the delicious food!

We need volunteers to help with the Pride Points Store on Dec. 8, 11, and 13. Volunteers will help students in the selection of items within their pride points earnings and tally sheets. Please use this link to sign up.

On Dec. 15, we have two volunteer opportunities to give hot chocolate and candy canes to students during lunch periods. The sign up site has the available time slots listed by grade. Please sign up here.

We also need volunteers on Dec. 15 to serve food for the Staff Holiday Luncheon and cleanup. Please use this Staff Holiday Luncheon form to sign up.

Drop Off

• If you do not see a bus in the right lane, please use it to double the space in the tunnel!
• Adults do not need to get out of the car.
• Do not let your child out of the car if you are in the tunnel before 7:40am
• Once you exit the tunnel and come to a complete stop, please have your child exit the car. - Do not wait for someone to open your child's door.
• At 7:40am please drop your child off in the tunnel by the front office.
• If you drop off at 7:45 or after, you must park and come inside to sign your child in for the day.

Pick Up

• If your child needs assistance getting buckled, please pull around to a parking spot and secure your child. - Do not exit your vehicle in the car rider line.
